for artists

here's what lora can do for you.
I'd love to have you here.

Right now I'm specifically looking for artists in these genres. This isn't about excluding anyone — it's about building something deep and real for a community I love first, before growing. Other genres will have a home here too, once we've got this right.

jungle D&B ambient virtual utopia nightcore lo-fi
more genres will follow — this is just where we begin.
01
your listeners pay you, directly
Every subscription flows to the artists that subscriber actually listened to that month — going straight to the people whose music made it worthwhile. This is being built now and will go live in the beta. The alpha is free for everyone while I get this right.
02
keeping streams where they belong
Slowed + reverb edits and nightcore versions of your tracks on other platforms take streams away from you. My approach: give listeners the tools to transform sound themselves — EQ, reverb, pitch shifting, playback rate — so the stream stays on your track, and the money stays in your pocket. No need for re-uploads.
03
ai used thoughtfully
I use AI to aid me in the development of lora and its brand, and it will AI will probably have its place in the final product as a tool for the user.
However, music generation has NO place here. lora is built for human artists, and I want to keep it that way.
04
your fans are yours
Direct messaging, stem sharing, real analytics — these are coming. The relationship between you and the people who love your music belongs to you.
05
music as an experience
lora is designed around listening with intention — the way you'd sit down with an album. Every design decision comes from that feeling, and I'm not willing to trade it away for engagement metrics.

building the foundation together
I reach out personally to artists in my target genres — or they reach out to me. I pick a small group, ask for a few songs to seed the platform, and invite up to 100 listeners alongside. the platform is completely free at this stage.

the payment funnel goes live
More artists, more listeners, real subscriptions. By this point lora has content and the subscription system is ready.
The totality of the listener money flows directly to the artists they actually listened to.
I won't take money from the subscriptions to keep the systems running, although separate donations will be very much appreciated!

open doors, sustainable model
New artists can sign up themselves. Listeners pay $10/month with a 14-day free trial. Of that, $8 goes to the artists and $2 keeps lora running. I'm not trying to get rich — I'm trying to make sure this doesn't go offline. the artist self-signup model is still being worked out honestly.
